Habatat Coffee Shop is dedicated to serving the freshest organic, direct-trade coffee from Counter Culture Coffee – all cups are rated at 85 points or higher in quality. Habatat’s menu consists of traditional espresso drinks such as latte's, mocha's, and frozen drinks, as well as a rotating, seasonal selection of single-origin organic coffees from about 30 different countries over the year, all sourced directly from Counter Culture’s network of small-scale, artisan farmers. Fresh beans are brought in every week and roasted the day they’re ordered.
Each drink is hand-crafted and can be individualized to taste. Even the milk is steamed by hand rather than temperature gauges; the owners and their employees are trained to feel when the milk has hit its sweet spot for a smooth, creamy texture. Staff is on hand to educate customers about the product and to help them decide what to order. Habatat posts tasting notes for each of the roasts, with guiding essences such as green apple, grape and almond.
